Feeling Burnt Out as a Projector? No Energy?

*estimated read time: 3 minutes*

Hi Reader,

This is a bonus newsletter for the week if you identify as a Projector in Human Design.

If you don't, you can ignore this message (although this week's EFT Video and many of the sentiments apply to everyone) πŸ™‚.

I am not an expert on Human Design or Projectors; however, I am a Projector and have spent a lot of time understanding and observing how this (my) design operates and it's made an enormous difference in my life.

In general I like to find and use tools that, despite the oppressive systems that we exist within, help me to embody more ease and move with more ease in the world.

I also tend to find that many, not all, of my 1:1 clients are often Projectors.

Projectors make up about 20% of the population and one of the most distinguishing traits about being a Projector is that we don't have consistent energy unlike some of the other human designs.

There's a common false belief that Projectors are lazy and/or not capable which couldn't be further from the truth.

We live in a Generator-run because Generators make up the largest population within human design.

Which means that many of the ways we operate in society, particularly around productivity is based off of being a Generator (and of course, capitalism) - like the 9-5 (usually longer) work day.

This does not actually reflect the capacity or reality of being a Projector......or really just being human.

It's not that we as Projectors don't have energy - it's that we don't have consistent energy and we usually can't create it on our own like some of the other designs can.

So this model of working and living can be extremely exhausting and depleting for many of us. We often work better in concentrated spurts of energy with breaks in between.

This means that we need more rest and time to replenish, which can be a very difficult battle to face living and existing within late stage capitalism and people incorrectly mistaking Projector burn out as laziness.

But the more that we can give ourselves that rest - to whatever degree we can - the more we can do what we are naturally skilled at doing: see patterns, guide and direct others, refine things, make things more efficient, give advice (when invited πŸ˜‰).

.......and also resist capitalism πŸ™ƒ.

And then using our spare time, when we have it, to hone in on our passions or zone of genius.

There is nothing wrong with you. You are more than capable. You just operate differently than how our world is set up.

You can use this EFT video whenever you feel like you are out of energy or are on the way to feeling like you are about to be out of energy.

Sending you rest,

Bianca

Hi Reader, With the 12/12 re-launch coming up, I wanted to give you a taste of the kind of reflection and support that happens weekly inside The Everyday Artist Community This is one of the emails I sent last month to current members, and it felt important to share with all of you too. ___________________________________________ The times just keep on times-ing don't they? Seems like it's team #NoBreaks 24/7. It can be so easy to get caught up in the drama, pain and chaos of the world and...

Black women's beach volleyball community gathering on Manhattan Beach court, with players holding yellow volleyballs and posing together after their first meetup

Hi Reader, In the Everyday Artist Community we have themes that guide each month and for November, the theme was Betting On Yourself. And on November 1st, I took a gamble and bet on myself by launching an all black women’s beach volleyball community. A little backstory, back in July I attended the yearly 6 Man Beach Volleyball tournament in Manhattan Beach. For those who don’t know, I played indoor volleyball for many years - middle school, high school and a year in club in college. Ya girl...

Hi Reader, It’s been awhile since I’ve jumped into your inbox. One of the reasons is because I’ve been working behind the scenes on bringing new visions of my business to life and the other is that life has been life-ing rather intensely. And I know I am not alone in that second experience. I’ve been navigating personal health challenges amidst my family dealing with their own health challenges, navigating β€œWow-I-can’t-unsee-this” unbalanced relationship dynamics while also witnessing the...
