Feel The Fear & Do It Anyways

Hi Reader,

Every month in The Everyday Artist Community there is a new monthly theme that I personally channel and share with the space and although it's a little late, I thought I would share with you.

The theme for this month is: feel the fear and do it anyways.

We’re in Capricorn season and it’s personally one of my favorite seasons - I have 3 placements in Capricorn and I very much appreciate the directness and “get ‘er done” mentality of this sign.

But there’s another energy that I feel like isn’t talked about as much that goes hand in hand with Cap.

And it’s feeling the fear and doing it anyways.

Because taking action isn’t always easy - if it was, everyone would be doing it and procrastination / avoidance wouldn’t even be a thing.

Sometimes our creative dreams and goals feel like a cozy hug, sometimes they feel like a stretch and sometimes they can feel like a flat out leap.......sometimes we don't even know what they are at all.

Regardless, they all require some kind of action and some of those actions might feel less accessible because there’s a potential or actual experience of fear.

This is why “feel the fear and do it anyways” feels like the theme for this month.

Sometimes I think when we feel fear that we assume it’s a bad thing - that something is wrong.

That we are going in the wrong direction.

Obviously, it takes discernment to know whether your intuition is saying something is wrong or if it’s just fear showing up but if it’s the latter then no, nothing is wrong.

I actually think it means something is very right.

That you are at a point of growth; a new timeline; a new version of you; and that this dream or this goal is pulling you there.

So beyond Capricorn season showing or teaching us what it takes for us to move towards our goals and dreams, let it show us how to walk hand in hand with our fear.

Whether it's starting something for the first or 100th time, deepening a creative commitment or bringing a project to the finish line.

Thankfully, we have tools like EFT Tapping to help us at these points when the fear feels like it’s going to take us out or swallow us whole.

As a community member that video is the membership portal but I am sharing it with you here to support you with this month's theme and whatever creative idea, project or dream you're contemplating or currently bringing to life.

Feel free to reply back to let me know if this resonates and if so, what is your creative idea / project / dream? And what specific fear are you currently facing?

And if you have questions about joining The Everyday Artist Community, just let me know!

Sending a lot of care,

Bianca

Black women's beach volleyball community gathering on Manhattan Beach court, with players holding yellow volleyballs and posing together after their first meetup

Hi Reader, In the Everyday Artist Community we have themes that guide each month and for November, the theme was Betting On Yourself. And on November 1st, I took a gamble and bet on myself by launching an all black women’s beach volleyball community. A little backstory, back in July I attended the yearly 6 Man Beach Volleyball tournament in Manhattan Beach. For those who don’t know, I played indoor volleyball for many years - middle school, high school and a year in club in college. Ya girl...
